Knotweed Removals was founded to fix a frustrating problem in the London property market: getting honest, fast, mortgage-grade advice on Japanese knotweed. Too many homeowners were quoted wildly different prices for identical problems, while too many sales were collapsing because the right paperwork could not be put in place quickly enough. We exist to bridge that gap.

We are an introducer service, not a contractor. Our job is to pair property owners, landlords, developers and councils with specialist invasive species contractors whose qualifications, insurance and warranty backing meet the standards every UK lender now demands. Every contractor in our network is vetted for accreditation, insurance currency and recent local track record.

How we work

You enquire through our online form. Within one business day, a vetted local specialist contacts you to arrange a site visit. After the visit, you receive a written survey, a recommended methodology and a fixed quote, usually within 5 working days. You decide whether to proceed; we are paid only if you do.

This model means there is no pressure-selling on your doorstep, no hidden middleman fees and no risk of being upsold to expensive excavation when herbicide treatment would do the same job. The contractor's quote is the contractor's quote, full stop.
